Centre for Social Innovation

Leadership Forum - December

Building on our two previous Leadership Forums this year with Hon Bill English and Charles Leadbeater our December forum, featuring MindLab’s Director Christian Bason, offers a space for public and private sector leaders to come together to think creatively and aspirationally about accelerating innovation in their organisations.

Internationally, Denmark leads in public sector innovation. One of its key vehicles is MindLab, an inter-governmental unit for citizen-centred innovation. Established in 2002, MindLab now occupies a significant position in the Danish public sector: leading cross-agency projects; developing new methods and tools; and building capacity across central and local government, in Denmark and internationally. What has Denmark learned through the MindLab experience, and what relevance do these insights have for New Zealand?
